The former India captain Virat Kohli, on Wednesday, gave his fans a glimpse of his new restaurant in Juhu, Mumbai. His restaurant chain has already become a famous spot in the city of Delhi, Kolkata and Pune and by the looks of it, Mumbai will be no different. Considered one of the greatest cricketers of the modern era, Kohli recently bought the old bungalow of the legendary singer Kishore Kumar and turned it into a fancy restaurant for everyone to come and enjoy.

‘Gouri Kunj’, once owned by the late great singer will now be known as the ‘One8 Commune’. The ‘King’ of the cricketing world released a video that promised to serve every community and mentioned that the utmost importance has been given to the quality of food. Along with popular actor Manish Paul, Kohli was also spotted engaging in fun activities like playing dumb charades and sharing unique food stories.

The Indian international was also spotted singing the famous song ‘Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi’ during the tour. He also expressed his love for the legendary singer and mentioned how his songs have always touched him. “His songs have really really touched me. One person asked me who would you I have like to meet, I would have said Kishore Da always because he was just charismatic,” the cricketer said in the video.

Other than his restaurant chains, the cricketer has also invested in the brand ‘Wrogn’. Part of the One8 brand, it produces clothing items, shoes and many other things.

Virat Kohli to link up with Indian team in Mumbai

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will link up with team India memebers in Mumbai itself to leave for Australia on October 6. The team is yet to announce Jasprit Bumrah’s replacement after the speedster is ruled out of the upcoming T20 World Cup. Mohammad Shami, Deepak Chahar and Mohammad Siraj are currently the favourites to replace but not a single name has been decided.

Captain Rohit Sharma has said that the team will take a call after seeing everyone’s performance in Australia. In the meantime, the Men in Blue is expected to fly to Australia within the next couple of days and that too without announcing their 15th player for the mega tournament.
