June 6 saw two brilliant games being played in the T20 Vitality Blast 2024. The first clash of the day saw Middlesex take on Glamorgan at Lord's in London. The South Group game began with Middlesex coming in to bat first.
The side opened with Stephen Eskinazi and Martin Andersson scoring 48 and 57 runs, respectively. After the blistering start, none of the other batters could amount to much, as Ryan Higgins and Luke Hollman scored 18 and 17 runs, respectively, as Middlesex scored 173 runs in the first innings.
Aiming to chase down the target, Glamorgan got off to a subpar start as Eddie Byrom was dismissed on a golden duck. However, Kiran Carlson and Sam Northeast added 54 and 67 runs, respectively, as Glamorgan won the game by three wickets.

Worcestershire register thrilling victory against Nottinghamshire
The second game of the day saw Worcestershire take on Nottinghamshire. Both sides locked horns at the Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Thursday, June 6. The clash began with Worcestershire coming in to bat first after winning the toss.
The side got off to a subpar start as the top order failed to go big. Adam Hose played a resilient knock, scoring 36 runs in 37 deliveries, with Nathan Smith staying unbeaten on a score of 51 runs in 35 deliveries as Worcestershire posted a total of 154 runs in the first innings.
Aiming to chase down the target, Nottinghamshire failed to put in a good performance with the bat. Will Young was the highest run getter for his side in the second innings with 25 runs to his name. However, Worcestershire’s bowling attack saw Nottinghamshire score just 134 runs, losing the game by 20 runs.
