Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals will take on a struggling Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 52nd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday, May 7. The Rajasthan-based franchise has hit a bit of a slump, losing four of their last five matches after a bright start to the tournament.

They were handed a second successive loss by defending champions Gujarat Titans in their previous outing. It was Rajasthan's failure with the bat in the first innings that surprised a fair few people, given their star-studded batting line-up. Jos Buttler has hit a rough patch, and so has skipper Sanju Samson.

They need inspiration from somewhere, and the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad could be the perfect opportunity for them to get back to winning ways in the competition. Meanwhile, it's a do-or-die situation for the Orange Army as they need to win all their remaining four matches to remain alive in the competition.
