After clinching the T20 international series 2-1, India lock horns with the Lankan Lions in a three-match ODI series, commencing on January 10 at the Barsapara National Stadium in Guwahati. The second and the third matches will take place on January 12 and 15 in Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram respectively. India will straight away play another ODI series, against New Zealand, after the completion of Sri Lanka series.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav’s spectacular century helped India in defeating the visitors in the decider T20I in Rajkot. With the 20-over series done and dusted, the action now moves to the 50-over format. With this being a World Cup year, both sides will look to kick-start their preparation for the global event with these three matches.
