The stadium will be hosting its fifth match of the IPL 2024 as Faf du Plessis and Co. go up against the 2022 champions Gujarat Titans (GT) on Saturday, May 4. The fact that their dream run in the 2016 season ended in heartbreak at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Chinnaswamy in the final would justify the previous statement.
