Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)  in match 19 of IPL 2024 at Sawai Mansingh International Cricket Stadium, in Jaipur on Saturday, April 06, 2024. RR will be playing their third game at home while this will be the second match on the road for Royal Challengers Bengaluru

In the ongoing tournament, RR have won all three matches played and have started this tournament superbly. Thus, the Royals would like to continue their winning momentum. On the other hand, RCB have won one match and lost three of IPL 2024. But, the Challengers would like to come back to their winning ways.

Rajasthan Royals will hope that they can get four wins in four matches and possibly go to the top of the points table. Royal Challengers Bengaluru meanwhile will want to win the game and carry some winning streak going forward.

These two teams' last meeting was in match 60 of IPL 2023 at this venue where RCB posted a mammoth 171/5 courtesy of fifties from Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell and trashed RR who were all out for just 59 courtesy of 3-fer from Wayne Parnell and good support from other bowlers and won by a massive 112 runs.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium Pitch Report

The stadium has a bowling-friendly pitch, which favours both pace and spin. Only two teams have ever crossed the 200 mark at this stadium in IPL history and only once has a batter scored a 100. The boundaries are also bigger than most venues in India. The team winning the toss is expected to bowl first as the pitch always has something to offer for the pacers in the first few overs.
