Stats: Aaron Finch's international career in numbers

Veteran Australian Skipper Aaron Finch has announced his retirement from T20 International in order to give chances for young bloods from the country. He earlier announced his retirement from ODI in the September 2022.

The right-handed batter has been the vanguard of modern generation Australian cricket in the 2010's decade. Finch has retired after being the leading run getter for Australia in T20Is. He has played 103 T20Is in which he has captained 76 matches and has scored 3120 runs at an average of 34.29 and strike rate of 142.53. 

Finch is one among the five captains to win ICC trophies for Australia and the only captain to do it in T20 World Cups. The batter recently enjoyed the BBL outings for Melbourne Renegades with 428 in 15 inns at an average of 38.91. He also holds the record for having the highest individual score (172) in T20I. Finch has aggregated 5406 runs at an average of 38.89 in ODIs with 17 hundreds and 30 half-centuries. He has represented Australia in 5 test matches averaging 27.8 with two half-centuries.
