Zimbabwe and the Netherlands meet each other in Match 34 of the T20 World Cup 2022 on November 02 at the Adelaide Oval. The stadium will host its first match of the ongoing World Cup followed by India’s clash with Bangladesh. With three points in as many games, the Zimbabweans occupy the fourth spot in the table while the Dutch sit rock bottom with no victories after three matches.
Zimbabwe’s opening encounter with South Africa ended with no result in Hobart before they secured a stunning and shocking one-run win over Babar Azam’s Pakistani side. The African nation came close to beating Bangladesh in their third outing but fell short by just three runs. On the other hand, the Netherlands started their WC campaign with two consecutive wins over UAE and Namibia in the qualifying round.
The Dutch faced defeat to Sri Lanka in the final game of that round but still made it to the main draw of the tournament. Since then, Scott Edwards and his side have lost all three games in the Super 12 round and are already knocked out of the competition. The Zimbabweans would look to register a victory over the Dutch to go onto five points and keep their hopes of the semi-final spot alive.
