If every batsman was like Gilly there would be no need for technologies like DRAS, Snickometer, etc. This guy follows the best policy, honesty. It so happened in the 2003 World Cup Semi Final when Gilchrist tried to sweep De Silva’s ball but got an edge. The ball flew off his pads and was caught by Sangakkara. Umpire Rudi Koertzer ignored the Sri Lankans’ appeals ruling that the ball had only hit the pad before popping up. Gichrist without waiting to hear the verdict turned around and headed towards the pavilion. This speaks volumes of his integrity and his honesty with which he plays the game. Gilchrist is also the only player to win all the world cup tournaments in which he participated. And then we have John Cena. One of the most popular figures of the WWE, Cena is one of the very players not to have turned heel over the years. Cena conducts himself in the WWE with a great sense of righteousness and rectitude. More than his wrestling there are more fans for his “Hustle Loyalty and Respect” attitude.
