Cricketers send their wishes for Sourav Ganguly after he suffers mild cardiac arrest

According to reports, Ganguly will need to get angioplasty done by evening.

Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian cricketer, on Saturday, December 2, suffered a mild cardiac arrest and was taken to the famous Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital in Kolkata. Ganguly complained of chest pain and experienced dizziness while he was exercising in the gym. Thereafter, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India was rushed to the hospital.

According to reports, Ganguly will need to get angioplasty done by evening. However, the 48-year-old is said to be stable and should be able to recover at the earliest. Journalist Boria Majumdar dropped a series of tweets, updating on Ganguly’s health condition.

In his first tweet, he wrote, “He had a heart issue and is in Woodlands hospital. But is stable will need a procedure confirm hospital sources. Should be out of the woods in the next few hours. I wish him a speedy recovery. @SGanguly99.”

“He felt dizzy when he was in the gym and he went to Woodlands to get the Tests done. That’s when it came to light that there was a cardiac issue and the hospital has now created a 3-member board with Dr Saroj Mondal who will perform the procedure. @SGanguly99 get well soon,” Majumdar’s second tweet read.

A number of players, both former and current, wished for their very own Dada’s speedy recovery. From Virender Sehwag, Shikhar Dhawan and many others, a number of them dropped messages for Ganguly.
