Cricketing Trends in social media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today Pakistan defeated Bangladesh in the 1st Test of the two-match series by an innings and 44 runs. Naseem Shah was awarded Man of the Match for his amazing bowling as he took a brilliant hat-trick.

He registered brilliant bowling figures of 4/53 in the second innings. Babar Azam also managed to pull off his 5th ton in Test cricket as he scored 143 runs in the second innings of the match. This win also helped Pakistan in taking a lead by 1-0 in the two-match series.

Overall he grabbed 5 five wickets in the series opener. After the conclusion of the match, the Men in Green were poured with wishes from every nook and corner. Shoaib Akhtar took his official handle and wished Babar Azam and Co. for their brilliance.

On the other hand, the cricketing fraternity criticised the behaviour of Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team with India Under-19 after winning the ICC World Cup. In the meantime, Kolkata Knight Riders appointed James Foster, the former England wicket-keeper as their fielding coach for the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League 2020. Brendon McCullum was also delighted over the signing of the former England player, who had played 7 Tests, 11 ODIs and 5 T20Is for the national team.
