The cricketing trends on the social media revolved around a number of events. Melbourne Stars beat Melbourne Renegades in the 2018-19 Big Bash League at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Luke Wright expressed his happiness for the team, captained by Glenn Maxwell. Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne also enjoyed his time to the fullest at the renowned stadium in Australia.
Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi turned 34 today and Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman wished him on the auspicious occasion. Punjab beat Kerala by 10 wickets in the Ranji Trophy and Siddarth Kaul. who picked up eight wickets in the match, sounded excited. Yesterday night, the world was engrossed in the celebrations of New Year and wishes from across the globe flowed in.
Indian captain Virat Kohli posted a couple of adorable pictures with wife Anushka Sharma as they celebrated New Year in Sydney. Rishabh Pant also posted a video on the auspicious occasion. Wriddhiman Saha posted a picture along with his family. Irfan Pathan was happy after Jammu and Kashmir managed to beat Assam in the Ranjit Trophy. New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill posted a picture along with his wife and daughter. Axar Patel also had a good time with his friends.
