The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Jemimah Rodrigues, the Indian women’s cricketer, posted a hilarious video on Instagram. The woman prodigy recently hosted the show ‘Double Trouble’ along with Smriti Mandhana and it turned out to be a massive hit among the viewers. She last played in the T20 World Cup in Australia earlier this year. Mohammed Shami, the Indian fast bowler, posted a video where he was bowling his hear out. Over the last few days, he has often been posting videos of his practice sessions. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shami’s bowling partner, also posted a stylish picture of his.
David Warner shared a video where Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) Muttiah Muralitharan and Vijay Shankar were seen dancing their hearts out. It seems to be in the 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman can be seen in the background. Warner hasn’t been making a lot of videos on Tik-Tok since the video platform has been banned in India. Ajinkya Rahane posted a throwback picture where was sitting anxiously with the bat in hand.
Mushfiqur Rahim, the veteran Bangladesh wicketkeeeper, shared a video where he can be seen, working hard at home. Of late, he has been doing running in order to keep himself in good shape. West Indies and England are currently playing the opening Test at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. The hosts, in their first innings, were bowled out for 204 with Jason Holder picking up a six-wicket haul. Lisa Sthalekar was impressed by how Holder used the DRS to good effect.
