The cricketing trends on social media revolved around the Delhi Capitals’ thrilling win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Vizag in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). It was the eliminator of the tournament and the two teams played their best cricket. The clash lived up to its billing as Rishabh Pant‘s blitzkrieg ensured that the DC qualified while the SRH’s tournament ended.
The celebrations were all over the Delhi camp and there was also a cake cutting celebration with Hanuma Vihari sharing the pictures of the same. Meanwhile, the likes of Rashid Khan and Tom Moody expressed their delight for being part of the IPL over the last month or so. They thanked the SRH team and the crowd for an excellent experience even as Shikhar Dhawan praised the Afghan duo of Rashid and Mohammad Nabi.
Though there is a break from the IPL, Supernovas and Velocity have locked horns in the Women’s T20 Challenge. It is a must-win game for the Supernovas to go through to the finals and Lisa Sthalekar was excited about the game. With India’s ODI and T20 captains locking horns, it is expected to be a close game.
