Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The trends on Twitter revolved around a number of events. Virat Kohli, who has been quite active on social media since the lockdown, shared another throwback picture with wife Anushka Sharma. Both Virat and Anushka have been quite active on social media these days and the couple is trying its best to spread awareness about COVID-19. The power couple recently donated Rs 5 lakh each to the Welfare of Mumbai Police to help them in this pandemic.

Mohammed Azharuddin also shared a throwback picture which was clicked in 1998. Known for his wristy approach, Azharuddin is regarded as one of the most talented batsmen India has ever produced.

The wrath of the coronavirus outbreak is still wreaking havoc across the world. More than 2.7 lakh individuals have succumbed to death as the pandemic is affecting several lives around the globe. In such trying times, many prominent personalities have shared awareness amongst people. Babar Azam, Pakistan’s batting stalwart, also shared awareness on Twitter and urged people to wear masks and wash hands during the pandemic.

Suresh Raina and Irfan Pathan also hogged the limelight as the duo was live on Instagram where they discussed many topics. Raina also shed light over his comeback into the national side and opined that players including himself should be given the permission to play overseas leagues. In this way, out-of-favour players can bounce back into the national side eventually.
