The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Ajinkya Rahane, the Indian Test skipper, posted a video where he can be seen working hard in the nets with the bat in hand. He is set to be back for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh that begins in a week’s time. Albie Morkel was a tad surprised after rain washed of the match between Tshwane Spartans and Durban Heat at the Kingsmead. Both teams had a poor campaign last time around in the Mzansi Super League (MSL).
Indian leg-spin bowler Yuzvendra Chahal posted a throwback picture along with MS Dhoni and Kuldeep Yadav. Chahal is currently busy taking part in the T20I series against the Tigers. Ian Bishop praised Nicholas Pooran and believes that the southpaw has improved. Pooran scored 67 off 50 for the West Indies in the second ODI against Afghanistan at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. His knock was laced with seven fours and three sixes. The inning helped the visitors put up 247 for nine in their 50 overs.
Prithvi Shaw, who was suspended for consuming Terbutaline, turned 20 years old and the Mumbai batsman seemed determined to make a stronger comeback. Many of the Indian players, including Cheteshwar Pujara and Shikhar Dhawan, also wished the Young Turk on the auspicious occasion. Irfan Pathan was all praises for brother Yusuf, who took a stunning catch in the 2019-20 edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
