The cricketing trends on the social media revolved around a number of events. India won the opening Test against Australia at Adelaide Oval by 31 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the four-match series. Subsequently, they were showered with praises. Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, was highly satisfied and he dropped a motivational tweet. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who didn’t play the match, also showered his appreciation for the team.
Shikhar Dhawan, who isn’t in the squad, dropped in a congratulatory message. Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh pant also couldn’t stop heaping praises on the national cricket team. Cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra shared a video where he can be seen analysing India’s performance. Englishman Ian Bell shared a video where he can be seen practicing at the nets of Warwickshire.
Mitchell Johnson uploaded a picture of him working out in the gymnasium. Suresh Raina shared a beautiful picture with his wife Priyanka. Harbhajan Singh put up a picture with former teammate Zaheer Khan. Geeta Basra and Sagarika Ghatge, their better-halves respectively were also there in the picture.
Irish cricketer Kevin O’Brien had fun while commentating during the Everest Premier League. All-round cricketer Irfan Pathan, who is currently playing for Jammu and Kashmir in the ongoing edition of the Ranji Trophy, shared a picture along with son Imran. Windies swashbuckling batsman uploaded his candid picture.
