The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around various events as the fraternity was busy speaking about the same. The current and former cricketers wished all the fans and followers a very Happy Onam as the festival was celebrated across the country. Lungi Ngidi posted a video of him bowling in the nets ahead of the T20I series against India which is set to commence on September 15.
Meanwhile, Gulbadin Naib, Afghanistan’s former captain, tweeted something controversial which apparently seemed directed towards one of the players in the team. Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya locked horns against each other in the nets while practising and the brothers had a go at each other on Twitter as well.
While Hardik posted a video of him smashing the left-arm spinner, Krunal responded by putting up a video of bluffing the swashbuckling batsman with a loopy delivery. Manish Pandey celebrated his 30th birthday today and most of the cricketers he played with wished the cricketer on Twitter. The birthday boy, in response, was also quick to thank everyone and was indeed overwhelmed with all the wishes.

Happy Onam to all of you. I had visited the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, in Thiruvananthapuram, and prayed to God, and I believe that is what saved me from the nasty bouncer to my neck. Loved the aarti I attended there🙏 Have a nice Sadya you all 😄 pic.twitter.com/Nezew76vym
