The cricketing trends on social media revolved around Yuvraj Singh’s birthday and the various Vidhan Sabha elections that took place across the country. The state assembly elections were organized in a total of five states across the country like Telangana, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
As it turns out, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) received a huge wake-up call prior to the National elections which will be organized next year in May. They lost power in few of their stronghold states like Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and won just a single seat in Telangana. Congress leader and former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin expressed his good wishes to K Chandrashekar Rao, who will begin his new term as the CM of Telangana.
Discarded Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh was celebrating his 37th birthday and the whole twitter universe was busy giving the superstar their best wishes. Yuvraj Singh was an integral member of the Indian squad which won the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ICC World Cup, having won the player of the tournament award in the 2011 World Cup. The 37-year-old is currently representing Punjab in the Ranji Trophy and is eyeing for a place back in the Indian side.
Legendary actor Rajnikanth too was celebrating his birthday on Wednesday. Rajni is a pan Indian living legend who commands respect from all across the world. The cricketing world too came together to wish him a very happy birthday.
