Twitter wants Yuvraj Singh in Mumbai Indians camp in IPL 2019

The list of shortlisted players for the IPL auctions were recently released. As many as 346 players have been named in the list and they are all set to go under the hammer on December 18, 2018. Among the many players in the list, some marquee names are being tipped to grab the headlines. One among those is the name of veteran Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.

Yuvraj Singh will enter the auctions with a base price of INR 1 crore. The veteran cricketer has not quite been in the prime form in the recent times, but he is a big impact player. Having been an integral part of the victorious World Cup campaigns of team India in 2007 and 2011, Yuvraj holds numerous records under his belt. His prowess with the bat and his exploits on the field are very well known.

Even today, the glimpses of his power hitting in Durban is fresh in the memories of every cricket lover. In the recent days, he has been working hard on his fitness and is keen on making a comeback to the national side again. Now, with the IPL auctions round the corner, the fans are eagerly waiting to see where the southpaw eventually heads in the T20 competition.

Last season, he was with the Kings XI Punjab camp. He had a very quiet season with the bat, and was largely under the pump to perform well. This season, he would certainly want to make amends and perform better. While it remains to be seen who eventually bags him in the auctions, for now, it is apparent that the fan world have already made up their mind. Well, the deal could indeed turn out to be quite an exciting one for the Mumbai camp. In Yuvraj Singh, they can get some good experience in the middle-order and that could potentially promote their skipper Rohit Sharma back to the opening slot. Moreover, Rohit’s camaraderie with Yuvraj off the field is well known. Wouldn’t it be nice to see them share the same dressing room in the IPL too?
