S Sreesanth, who last played for India in 2011, hogged the headlines after his seven-year ban ended today on 13th September. The speedster tweeted out about his new journey after the completion of his spot-fixing ban. He even expressed his desire to play professional cricket once again. According to the 37-year-old, he still has five to seven years of cricket left in him.

The Kerala pacer’s career took an ugly turn in 2013 after his name was involved in the IPL Spot-Fixing scandal. Overcoming all the hurdles, he will try to bounce back to the sport once again. Wishes poured in for Sreesanth upon the completion of his ban. His wife also congratulated Sreesanth on the occasion.

Wishes also poured in for legendary spin bowler Shane Warne, who celebrated his 51st birthday on 13th September. Warne was wished by many eminent names of the cricketing fraternity. Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also wished the veteran and tagged him as ‘one of the greatest players’. In a career spanning over 145 Tests and 194 ODIs, Warne scalped over 800 wickets in his illustrious international career.
