Twitter, on Friday, was flooded with photos of Chennai Super Kings’ players as they arrived in Chennai for their training camp. Raina shared multiple photos featuring MS Dhoni, Piyush Chawla, Deepak Chahar, Karn Sharma and Monu Kumar. Chennai Super Kings’ also shared skipper Dhoni’s picture upon his arrival at the airport.
Many fans expressed their joy to see Dhoni back in action. The veteran has been away from the field now for more than a year. Ardent Dhoni fans flooded Twitter to show their excitement over their favourite player’s return.
The IPL 2020 will start on September 19 in the UAE and Dhoni will be seen leading the CSK in the cash-rich league. After finishing their training camp, players are slated to leave for UAE on August 21, where they will fight for their fourth IPL title.
Wishes also poured in for Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan after he struck a brilliant fifty against England on Day 2 in Southampton. Saving the visitors from a collapse, Rizwan’s half-century ensured that Pakistan cross the 200-run mark. Rizwan ended the day on 60* and will be aiming to add a few more runs when Pakistan start Day 3 from 223/9.
Rizwan became the first wicket-keeper batsman to score a half-century in the last 10 Tests of Pakistan in England. Twitter was flooded with praises for him as he flaunted his resilient batting in tough conditions.
