The Indian bowling force looked hapless against the robust batting of Warner and Finch as Australia cruised to a thumping 10-wicket victory against the Men in Blue.

Post Irfan Pathan’s retirement from international cricket, the all-rounder has been receiving love and support from all parts of the world. It was quite evident when Pathan shared a video of Kolkata fans cheering for the all-rounder. India’s young stalwart Prithvi Shaw, who has been struggling to cement his spot in the Indian side, shared a video of him practising in the nets. The 20-year-old was seen middling the ball in the nets.

Fast bowling spearhead Suranga Lakmal, who had missed out on the tour to Pakistan due to injury made a comeback to the Test set-up while Kusal Perera was dropped due to dismal form. India’s Test-format stalwart Ajinkya Rahane also shared a picture while reading a book. Parthiv Patel also shared a throwback picture of Gujarat winning their maiden Ranji title in 2017 on this day.

Ravichandran Ashwin, who is currently prepping for the upcoming Test match series against New Zealand, raised his concerns regarding the smog that had engulfed the city of Chennai.
