Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. On Friday, the final of Ranji Trophy 2019-20 between Saurashtra and Bengal ended up on a draw. But, by rules, the side scoring most in the first innings will be nominated as the winner of the match. Hence, Saurashtra emerged as the winner, who scored a total of 425 runs while batting first.

On the other hand, Bengal could only score 381 runs. Arpit Vasavada scored a brilliant century in the crucial game for his team. Avi Barot, Vishvaraj Jadeja and Cheteshwar Pujara also scored vital fifties.

Akash Deep took a four-wicket haul against Bengal. And, he was well supported by Shahbaz Ahmed, who took three wickets for his team. From Bengal, Sudip Chatterjee emerged as the leading run-scorer, who scored 81 runs in the first innings of his team.
