The entire world was shocked after the dastardly terrorist attacks in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. The Bangladesh cricket team narrowly escaped the shooting and the cricketing trends revolved around this topic. Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan called this act a ‘phenomena of madness’ while Brendon McCullum termed it a ‘black day’ in the history of New Zealand. Indian skipper Virat Kohli, as well as Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, condemned the attacks.
The other trends revolved around various cricket-related activities. James Taylor expressed amusement watching the catch Rahul Tripathi took in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
