Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The final of the 2020 Pakistan Super League (PSL) is scheduled to be played between the Karachi Kings and the Lahore Qalandars at the National Stadium in Karachi. Both teams are yet to win the championship and would be looking to get their hands on the trophy. The Qalandars, led by Sohail Akhtar, are in riveting form after beating the Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans in the Eliminator 1 and Eliminator 2 respectively. They are looking unstoppable, to say the least.

Azhar Mahmood, the former Pakistan all-rounder, wished the teams ahead of the clash on Tuesday night. Mohammad Amir, who bowled the Super Over against the Sultans in the Qualifier, has kept his fingers crossed. In the meantime, Nicholas Pooran, the West Indies left-handed batsman, got engaged to his girlfriend Alyssa Miguel. He uploaded a picture where he can be seen bending down on one knee.

Suresh Raina was excited after he had a great time with his wife and their daughters. Mahmudullah Riyad was a tad relieved after he was tested negative for the coronavirus. Earlier, he missed out on playing in the PSL playoffs. KL Rahul, the Indian batsman, was happy to be back on the field for the tour of Australia. He last played for KXIP in IPL 2020.
