The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. 14 teams are fully prepared for the upcoming T20 World Cup qualifiers between 14 nations starting on 18th October 2019. Sikander Raza wishes all the teams taking part in this ICC organized tournament. On the other side, India’s spin wizard Anil Kumble turns 49. Sachin Tendulkar came out on the social media platform in order to wish his mate on his special day.
Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez also got wishes from across the world on his birthday and his Pakistan teammate Kamran Akmal also wished on this occasion.
T10 league draft also took place in which many players were picked and drop to make the teams look more strong for the upcoming season. Some big players like Wahab Riaz got picked by Northern Warriors, Colin Ingram was retained by Bangla Tigers and Corey Anderson was picked by Abu Dhabi.
In county cricket, Tymal Mills happily extended his contract with Sussex Cricket Club whereas Jonty Rhodes attended the launch of The Road Safety World series T20 tournament in which Brett Lee and Brian Lara were picked as the captain of their respective countries.
