The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around the Indian Premier League (IPL) game played between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Eden Gardens. The visitors were dealt with a huge blow ahead of the game as AB de Villiers was not fit for the game due to a mild concussion problem. Heinrich Klaasen replaced him in the game.

Meanwhile, Shahid Afridi announced the release date of his biography named Gamechanger. It is set to release on 25 April in India and on 30 April in Pakistan. Pakistan’s World Cup squad was announced on Thursday and soon the Prime Minister Imran Khan met the whole squad on Friday and even the players expressed their elation over the same.

Ramiz Raja was also delighted to meet Imran while Junaid Khan also took to Twitter to express himself after meeting the PM of the country. The likes of Graeme Smith and VVS Laxman were extremely happy to come back to Eden Gardens as they covered the game between KKR and RCB in Kolkata.
