Cricketing trends on social media today

So, Test cricket has once again resumed in England today, as England and New Zealand are battling it out at the iconic Lord’s cricket ground. And, the likes of Michael Vaughan, Shane Warne, and Chris Woakes have offered their thoughts on the first Test between these two sides.

Both Vaughan, as well as Warne, have questioned why the Joe Root-led side has not picked even a single frontline spinner in their playing XI against the Kiwis. Also, Chris Woakes is super excited for the start of the England cricketing season this summer.

Also, David Warner has posted a cheeky tweet of Stuart Broad bowling against New Zealand and has stated that Broad has disturbed his sleep. It is a well-known fact that Warner has historically struggled against Broad in the white flannels.

South African cricketer David Miller has offered his thoughts on two cricketing icons, AB de Villiers and MS Dhoni. While Miller stated that de Villiers is a genius, he termed MS Dhoni as the best finisher that he has ever seen. And finally, today marks the 32nd birthday of Australian batting maestro Steve Smith, and Miller has wished Smith on his birthday.
