The cricketing trends on the social media revolved around a number of events. Former England captain Michael Vaughan batted for the newest format of cricket that is the 100-overs format. Indian captain Virat Kohli posted his picture where he can be seen wearing a sleeveless shirt. Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel’s father is suffering from a brain haemorrhage and he asked everyone to pray for his father.
Cricketer turned commentator David Llyod posted a picture of the pitch at Barbados, the venue for the first ODI between Windies and England. David Willey expressed his excitement before the white-ball fixtures. Gautam Gambhir posted about the distribution of pollution masks in a school at Rajendra Nagar. Proteas pacer Dale Steyn posted about his dogs and mentioned that they are good at surfing.
Australian cricket’s head coach Darren Lehmann feels that Australia are set to win the upcoming World Cup in England and Wales that is scheduled to start on May 30. Former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif posted a photo where he can be seen exercising. He also captioned the pic with a motivational quote.
Irfan Pathan spent some time with the soldiers of the Indian army. New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor was delighted after going past the legendary Stephen Fleming in the third ODI against Bangladesh at the University Oval in Dunedin.
