The cricketing trends on Thursday revolved around various topics around the world. Firstly, in a huge mishap, a massive fire broke out in Chawk Bazar, Dhaka. The accident claimed the lives of 69 people and left many severely injured. Bangladesh cricketers Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mustafizur Rahman offered their prayers for the victims.
Apart from this heart-breaking incident, the other trends revolved around the ODI between England and Windies. The Brits won this game comfortably courtesy twin centuries from Jason Roy and Joe Root. There were also talks about the second Test between South Africa and Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan visited Virender Sehwag’s school and applauded the former cricketer for the work he is putting in.
