Not just the cricketing trends, but the biggest talking point across the world on Tuesday was Indian Air Force’s surgical air strike on Jaish-e-Mohammad’s camp around 3.30 AM in Balakote. As per reports in various media houses, over 250 terrorists were dead as the IAF dropped a 1000 kg bomb on the training camp.
This came as a response from the Indian defense after the cowardly terror attack in Pulwama, which led to the death of over 40 CRPF personnel. The entire country was fuming with rage and the latest act from the Indian Air Force came in as a huge sigh of relief and a great source of joy for various Indians across the world.
Many Indian cricketers including the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Yuzvendra Chahal tweeted soon after the news broke out and congratulated the IAF for their brave act. India will also be preparing for their second T20I against Australia, which will take place in Bangalore on Wednesday.
India are expected to make some changes for this encounter and they might bring in Siddarth Kaul for Umesh Yadav and Rohit Sharma too might get rested. If that happens, Shikhar Dhawan will be roped in and will open alongside the returning hero KL Rahul.
Here are the other cricketing trends which kept buzzing on social media on Wednesday.
