The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today, Suresh Raina, the Indian cricketer is celebrating his 33rd birthday. On such a special occasion, the cricketing fraternity went busy pouring wishes over him from every nook and corner. Moreover, on the fifth death anniversary of Phillip Hughes, fans along with many cricketers shared their grief on social media.
His tragic demise took place after he was hit with a ball during a Sheffield Shield game. He was taken to the hospital where he survived for three days. But, later on he passed away due to brain haemorrhage without regaining his consciousness.
Meanwhile, the former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar came up with a clarification over the fake accounts that are being operated on the name of his son Arjun. He also requested Twitter India to terminate those accounts as soon as possible.
Hardik Pandya also hit the ground and shared a video for his fans in which he was spotted performing his running drills. On the other side, Mike Atherton, the former England first-class cricketer raised his concern over the form of Joe Root. He also felt that the team needs him more as a batsman than a skipper. The England Test captain is struggling to score runs in away Test series since long. And in the previous game against New Zealand, Root scored only 2 and 11 runs in the respective innings.
