The cricketing trends on Friday revolved around a few different topics. The first ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was washed out due to heavy rains. The likes of Ramiz Raja and Shadab Khan expressed disappointment about the same. Also, England woman cricketer Sarah Taylor announced her retirement from all forms of cricket with immediate effect. Wishes poured in for the 30-year-old for a wonderful career.
Anya Shrubsole, Danielle Wyatt and Heather Knight thanked her for her services and even mentioned that it was a pleasure playing with her. Sarah, herself, put up a tweet where she thanked everyone for their support throughout the 13-year-long career.
Meanwhile, in other trends, Irfan Pathan congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir team for defeating a strong Rajasthan side in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Ajinkya Rahane hoped that every in and around Maharastra was safe after the recent heavy rains. Also, Sachin Tendulkar shared an old video of him practising hard in the nets during rain.
