Last few days have been a bit troublesome from Pakistan Cricket. As many as 10 players tested COVID-19 positive ahead of their much-awaited England tour. However, out of the ten positive players, six returned negative in the second test, giving the PCB a bit of relief.

The players who were tested negative were Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, and Wahab Riaz. These players have to go another test before joining the Pakistan squad. Fakhar Zaman, who was one of the players who tested negative in the second test, wished luck to the side and expressed his eagerness to join them soon.

Wishes also poured in for Pakistan stalwart Wahab Riaz, who turned 35 on Sunday. The speedster was also one of the six players who tested positive in the second test. Wahab is expected to play a crucial role in Pakistan’s expedition in England, as well as Pakistan’s trophy hunt in the T20 World Cup 2020.

No Indian fan can forget the 2000s era when a string of youngsters paved their way up under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly. Prolific youngsters like Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh rose to fame when ‘Dada’ was at the helm. Mohammad Kaif, while reminiscing that era, shared a throwback picture with compatriots Harbhajan and Sehwag.
