The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. On Thursday, Bollywood veteran actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last at the age of 67. He was battling since 2017 and passed away at a hospital in Mumbai. He was taken to the hospital on Wednesday, April 29 after his condition deteriorated. In a space of 24 years, the Indian film industry lost two of its finest actors, the first one being Irrfan Khan, who bid goodbye after suffering from a colon infection. After the developments, a number of cricketers mourned their death. For them, it was hard to believe what has panned out in the last few weeks.
The likes of Irfan Pathan, Virat Kohli, Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur and may other described how big a loss the Indian film industry has suffered over the past one day. Kapoor was last seen in the series The Body on Netflix. On the same day, Rohit Sharma, the vice-captain of the national ODI and T20I sides, celebrated his 33rd birthday and wished poured in for the veteran. Many of his teammates, including Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant wished him on the occasion.
Meanwhile, David Warner, the Australian batsman, posted a video on Tik-Tok where he can be seen dancing with wife Candice. The couple shook their leg to the song to the peppy Telugu number Butta Booma. The original song had Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. Steve Smith posted a throwback picture with wife Danny Willis.
