The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Rohit Sharma’s daughter Samaira celebrated her first birthday. On the auspicious occasion, Rohit and his wife Ritika Sajdeh were over the moon. Rohit also posted a few adorable pictures with his loved ones. Last year, Sharma missed the Sydney Test versus Australia to attend his pregnant wife. He came back before the ODI series though. Rohit has recently taken a break and won’t be a part of the three-match T20I series versus Sri Lanka.

Gautam Gambhir posted a picture where he was seen, riding a camel along with his daughters Anaiza and Aazeen. Gambhir was lately an unhappy man after a fight broke out in the Annual General Meeting of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Ahmed Shehzad was happy after Central Punjab won the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, beating Northern Pakistan in the Final by an innings and 16 runs. Shehzad will now be turning out for the Dhaka Platoon on the 2019-20 edition of the Bangabandhu BPL 2019-20.

In the same T20 tournament, Rangpur Rangers managed to win their second game, Shane Watson and Co took down the Sylhet Thunder by seven wickets at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Peter Siddle hung his boots from international cricket. After bidding adieu to cricket at the highest level, the speedster expressed gratitude towards wearing the Baggy Green. Shakib Al Hasan, the Bangladesh all-rounder, who’s serving a ban from the ICC, posted a stylish picture of his on Instagram.
