The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of incidents. The world is currently reeling from the coronavirus outbreak. The pandemic isn’t showing signs of stopping and the cricketers are currently busy spending all their times at home. Over the last few days, the players have been participating in several challenges to spend their time indoors. S Badrinath, the former Indian cricketer, formed a challenge named ‘Indoor Challenge With Badri’. Former England batsman also asked his teammates to upload some cricket photos and subsequently go down the memory lane in their respective careers.
The likes of Mithali Raj, Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have come forward and contributed towards the ones affected in the coronavirus pandemic. Jason Holder, the West Indies all-rounder, asked the people to be patient as he reckons that the situation will improve. Tabraiz Shamsi, the South Africa spinner, urged the netizens to stay indoors. In the meantime, the Shahid Afridi Foundation has also been doing their bit for the COVID-19 affected people.
Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian fast bowler, posted a video where he can be seen, cleaning his room. Shikhar Dhawan was busy watching the series ‘Special Ops’ on Hotstar. Harbhajan Singh was busy watching the replay of India’s semi-final against Pakistan in the 2011 World Cup. India went on to win the mega event after 28 years. Megan Schutt, the Australia fast bowler, celebrated her first anniversary with partner Jess Hollyoake.
