Cricketing trends on social media today

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League has been suspended as several players were infected due to Covid-19. And so, for the first time in almost a month, the trends on social media did not revolve around the 14th edition of the IPL.

Ravichandran Ashwin has congratulated Gautam Gambhir for lending a helping hand to a senior citizen. Danushka Gunathilaka has lauded Thisara Perera for a wonderful career with the Sri Lankan team. In a noble gesture, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has informed on Twitter that the Cricket Academy of Pathans will provide free meals to those who are affected by Covid-19 in Delhi.
