The cricketing trends on social media today were about a wide range of things from cricket to incidents of public and even national importance. Then there was a whole lot of attention for former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly who celebrated his birthday today. Most of his former teammates and those who played while he was the skipper credited Ganguly for laying the foundation for the better future of Indian cricket.
Yuvraj Singh took the bottle cap challenge, but when Yuvi does something you expect it to be different and it was. Suresh Raina congratulated India’s star track athlete Hima Das as she won the second gold medal, in a week by winning the 200m dash. Kevin Pietersen had a rather embarrassing moment. Despite being pretty unconventional, he wasn’t sure why he played a game yesterday that he did.
Mayank Agarwal who recently joined the Indian team in England for the ongoing World Cup campaign is working hard in the nets preparing for the challenges that might be ahead of him. All that and a lot more in the cricketing trends of the day.
