The cricketing trends on social media today saw the cricketers from all over the world interact with their followers across platforms. Manoj Tiwary wished David Miller of South Africa a very happy birthday and blessed him with good wishes. Both were the teammates during the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) and played for the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). The duo didn’t get many chances to showcase their skills as their team was knocked out in the league stage itself.
Russel Arnold was all praise of Kusal Mendis who batted gamely in the second innings and smashed a sensational century with their backs against the wall against Windies in the ongoing first Test match. Sri Lanka are chasing 453 runs and have lost 5 wickets in their second innings. Dinesh Chandimal and Niroshan Dickwella are fighting it out for their side as they are aiming to fight it out for a draw in the three-match series. Mendis scored 102 and was dismissed by Shannon Gabriel.
The likes of Michael Vaughan and Mohammad Kaif praised Calum MacLeod for his sensational hitting in the only One-Day International against England. Scotland posted a daunting total of 371 runs in 50 overs as he remained unbeaten on 140 runs off just 94 balls with 16 fours and 3 sixes. Chirs Gayle is enjoying his time away from the game of cricket as he posed for a click and posted it on his official Instagram handle. He was recently in India to play in the IPL for KXIP.
