The cricketing trends on social media revolved around the ongoing second Test match between India and England at the iconic Lord’s. All eyes were on the Indian bowling after they were bundled out for a paltry total of 107 on the second day of the Test match. James Anderson was their nemesis who returned with the magical figures of 5/20. Moreover, the Indian batsmen had no idea what was happening out there in the middle and only four of their batsmen were able to reach the double figures.

The former cricketers felt that the introduction of Ravi Ashwin into the attack was a little late. Kuldeep Yadav’s inclusion didn’t reap any rewards so far but Aakash Chopra still felt that he was a wicket-taking option on a pitch which has miraculously turned good for batting after the first session. Michael Vaughan, meanwhile, had predicted in the morning that this was going to be a good day for batting and it is turning out to be the same with the way Bairstow and Woakes are playing.

Few cricketers were busy wishing the Bollywood star Suniel Shetty on the occasion of his 57th birthday. The likes of Suresh Raina and Sachin Tendulkar and Irfan Pathan as well wished a year full of happiness for the dynamic actor. Also, the cricketing fraternity was stunned to witness an unreal century from Andre Russell in the ongoing CPL against Knight Riders. He also took a hat-trick with the ball and had a dream day on the field for the Jamaica Tallawahs.
