No one can deny the fact that Rohit Sharma has made an impact on T20 cricket, right from its birth. He was in the squad for India in the first T20 World Cup of 2007. His quick 30 runs in the final were very crucial for India’s win.

He scored a joint-fastest century in T20I in 2017, which naturally brings him into Asia’s best  XI. He is the second-highest six-hitter in T20I after Martin Guptill.

He is someone who takes his time on the crease and once he gets settled, it’s very difficult for the opponents to stop him. He is the captain of this side, because of his enormous achievements as a skipper in the IPL. So Rohit Sharma is the complete package to be in the Asia XI in the T20 format.
