New Zealand Women (NZ-W) are to clash against England Women (ENG-W) in the 12th T20I match of the 2022 Commonwealth Games at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Thursday. Both teams have already secured the qualification for the semi-final round after winning the opening two matches against Sri Lanka and South Africa in Group A. Now both teams will be looking to finish the group stage fixture at a top spot and probably to avoid mighty Australia in the semi-final round. New Zealand have won just once in the last five T20I matches against England Women.

Here are 3 players you should avoid in your Dream11 Fantasy Cricket Team for the NZ-W vs ENG-W game:

1. Rosemary Mair:

The 23-year-old pacer replaced Fran Jonas in the last match against Sri Lanka. But she was given chance to bowl only two overs where she took a wicket while conceding 13 runs. Mair last played cricket in March 2022 when she played only one match in the 2022 World Cup. But her performances in international cricket are convincing enough with just 2 wickets in the last five matches. New Zealand have good depth in the bowling department with the likes of Lea Tahuhu, Hannah Rowe, and Hayley Jensen, who all are performing better.

2. Maddy Green:

The experienced middle-order batter’s last match against South Africa came after New Zealand’s last 2022 World Cup match in March. She didn’t get a chance to bat in the first match against South Africa and she was caught out on just 9 runs off 8 balls against Sri Lanka in the last match. It will be wise to choose Kiwi’s top-three batters ahead of Green in this important clash against England. Green has scored 530 runs in 50 T20I innings at an average of 12.61 and a strike rate of just 91.85.

3. Sarah Glenn:

The English leggie ranks 2nd in the ICC T20 Bowlers chart but has not taken more than two wickets in her last five T20I matches. She has taken only five wickets in the last five fixtures. She conceded the highest 35 runs in her four-over spell against South Africa in the last match and failed to take any wickets. Both Sophie Ecclestone and Katherine Brunt are doing well and will be better bowling options for your Dream11 team.
