No wonder James Anderson is a legend. The way he’s been making the ball talk in the ongoing Test series against India is brilliant. So far he’s picked 7 wickets at Lord’s and is looking good to take more in the second innings as the opposition is completely on the mat. With the wicket of Murali Vijay, he also completed 100 scalps at an iconic venue and Dale Steyn is loving the way the England veteran is bowling at the moment.

Anderson has been at his best and with the conditions completely in his favour, he has looked rather menacing. He was close to unplayable in the first innings as the ball seamed and swung drastically much to the dismay of the visiting batsmen. Moreover, the way he castled Vijay in the very first over was absolutely classy and that set the tone for the rest of the game.

Impressive bro

England declared at 396/7 after batting for close to 7 overs in the morning and decided to have a go at the feeble Indian batsmen under dark clouds. Like a norm, James Anderson charged in and bowled superbly to say the latest and made life difficult for them. He picked wickets of Vijay and KL Rahul once again and has probably left only the formality to take his team 2-0 up in the series.

Dale Steyn loved his intensity and the intent with which he’s been bowling and praised the owner of 551 wickets in Tests. “I love how quick Jimmy is between deliveries. No stares, no words, no fuss. Gets back to his mark, bowls with intent, intelligence and great energy. Man knows what he wants (wkts) and most of all, he knows how to get them. Impressive bro,” he tweeted.

As far as the South African speedster is concerned, he made his comeback in the recently concluded Test series against Sri Lanka. He is keen on playing the World Cup next year and it remains to be seen if he stays fit until then to deliver the goods for his country.
