English cricketer Danielle Wyatt took to Twitter, on Sunday, to express her delight over the gift she was presented by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Wyatt, however, made a mistake by writing ‘Virat Kholi’ on the bottom of the bat, instead of ‘Virat Kohli‘. The congratulatory message which was due following the gift never arrived after the mistake with the spelling.
The English cricket was trolled left, right and centre with Twitterati pasting the cricketer for the spelling. The all-rounder, who was part of England’s World Cup winning squad, had used the same medium to propose to the Indian skipper way back in 2014 when Kohli was yet to be named the skipper of the Indian team. Three years after the incident she is trolled for another instance involving the same man.
The tweet:
Her caption along with the photo read- “Back training this week. Can’t wait to use this beast. Thanks @imVkohli #ping #middlesbiggerthanme.”

The replies to the Twitter, however, were not as sweet as the message. One Twitter user by the username ‘Pavan Sharma’ told the English cricketer that Kholi in Hindi means something else.
Its "kohli", not "kholi" (kholi in a native indian language means a room)

Another user, however, suggested that the two cricketers make a good match and should tie the knots to become one of the power couples in the trade.
It would be nice to see Kholi marrying Dani, we need more power couples in sports.

There was another fan, who decided to troll the English cricketer for her mistake:
Are.. Kholi nahi.. Kohli. I mean it's Kohli.. not Kholi…Still unknown about the real name of ur crush ??

Wyatt found some support as well:
However, some people supported the English all-rounder and said that people had to understand feelings and not the spellings as the spelling did not really matter here.
Spelling doesn't matter feelings matter??

Kohli had gifted Wyatt this bat when the Indian team was touring England way back in 2014. The all-rounder used this bat to get back into the Sussex squad for the Championship in the year 2016 which kicked off all good things for her.
