COVID-19 also called the Coronavirus has been spreading all across the world at a rapid rate, affecting huge sections of the population all over. Every avenue of human functioning has been affected adversely by this outbreak and the sport of cricket has also taken a hit because of this. And, two of the most famous Australian Cricketers, David Warner and Aaron Finch, have come out to express their concerns regarding the Australian Government’s measures to stop the virus from spreading down under.

The duo was a part of the recently canceled series that was being played between Australia and New Zealand. The first match of the series was played in an empty stadium, but the remainder of the matches of the series was called off as a precautionary measure. Another thing of worry, which has now been sorted came up when Lockie Ferguson reported a sore throat, which is a symptom of the infection of the virus. But, thankfully, he was later diagnosed to be free from the virus.

Aaron Finch is worried, while Warner questions the commuting procedures

The two players, in focus, took it to Twitter on Sunday, to question the Aussie Government’s recent move to impose a 14-day self-isolation on all passengers coming from other countries starting from midnight on Sunday. retweeting a tweet from a user, Finch wrote that he was also thinking about whether the people will impose a 14-day self-isolation on themselves. “Have been wondering the same thing!!” his tweet read.

Replying to Finch’s tweet, David Warner opened up a new thinking point about the buses, cabs and other public transport those people would use when commuting from the airport to the place of stay. He tweeted, “Or, what about the uber/taxi/bus/train they catch from the airport to their place.”

It is no hidden fact that the governments are trying their best to stop the further spread of the virus, which could be potentially deadly for people. But, the very fact that people like Warner and Finch, whose statements can help in the betterment of the policies are speaking up, would give people a lot of courage to come together and fight this horrific pandemic and do their best to stop its further spreading.
