Bangladeshi cricket has improved considerably in the past few years. The Tigers like to hunt in their own backyard, but they now have a very tough assignment ahead of them. The Kangaroos are coming to their nation, for a two-Test series. The cricket fraternity of Bangladesh can’t wait to welcome the visitors all the way from down under. The baggy greens’ will be landing in the subcontinent after a couple of days.

The good news for the Aussies is that their destructive opener David Warner will also board the flight. The visitors are currently attending a conditioning camp ahead of the tour. The players and the support staff were terrified on Tuesday when Warner crumbled to the ground after getting hit on the neck region.

Thankfully for the Australian team and the game of cricket, Warner’s injury is not a serious one. Cricket Australia (CA) has given him the permission to feature in the series after the batsman passed the concussion test. Josh Hazlewood was the bowler this time, who fancied a bouncer against his countrymate. Failing to make the connection, the ball hit Warner’s neck and the batter was unable to bat again. But he is now back on the ground, ready to smash the ball all around the park again.

What coach Darren Lehmann had to say

Coach Lehmann stated that his principal weapon is fit enough to walk around the ground now and within a day or two, Warner will be back in business. “Everything is fairly all right. He has walked properly today; so we are hoping that he will be fully fit on time. We will be fully confirmed by tomorrow or the day after tomorrow,” said Lehmann.

Pace spearhead Pat Cummins also revealed that after speaking to him, he understood that Warner is fine. “It’s good that Davey’s fine, he’s a little bit stiff and sore, but just speaking to him then, he’s all fine,” said Pat.
