David Warner is arguably one of the best batters in the modern era and was also adjudged the Player of the Tournament at the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, having amassed 289 runs in seven matches including three half-centuries as Australia lifted their maiden world title in the shortest format. Apart from having made a tremendous impact on the 22 yards, it also needs to be noted that Warner is a movie buff as well.

The southpaw can be seen morphing faces of some of the biggest Indian actors on Instagram reels and also asks the fans to guess them. Bollywood and Tollywood have been his main areas of interest but lately, it seems that the two-time World Cup winner has now chosen Hollywood. David Warner, on Monday (February 28), took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture with veteran actor Mark Wahlberg.

The batting sensation is currently in Pakistan and an integral member of the Australian squad that has visited the neighboring country for the first time after the 1998/99 season. Australia would be playing an all-format bilateral series against the Babar Azam-led side from March 4 to April 5.

Meanwhile, after being released by the 2016 winners Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner was roped in by the Delhi Capitals for a sum of INR 6.25 crore at the IPL 2022 mega auction earlier this month. He would now be hoping to prove his critics wrong by making his bat talk in the 15th edition of the marquee tournament that gets underway on March 26. Warner has won the Orange Cap a record three times in the 2015,2017, and, 2019 editions respectively.
