David Warner has garnered a lot of Indian fans, especially from South India, thanks to his obsession with apps like TikTok where he can enact famous dialogues from superstar actors. During the nationwide lockdown last year due to COVID-19, the left-hander was also seen dancing on songs from the blockbuster movies like Ala Vaikunthapuramaloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru.

At times, he also danced with his wife Candice even as his daughters made a special appearance in their videos. Many were taken by surprise after looking at his fondness towards Indian cinema and songs. This time around, it is not David Warner but his daughters who have liked the famous ‘Vaathi Coming’ song featuring the superstar actor Vijay.

In his latest Instagram post, the Australian opener hilariously recorded how his two elder daughters, Ivy Mae and Indi Rae, tapping their feet on the extremely popular number. He also wrote in the caption that both the girls are obsessed with the song which has left the cricketer in splits.

David Warner to feature in the IPL 2021 next

Meanwhile, David Warner will be soon leaving for the UAE to take part in the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He will play for the Sunrisers Hyderabad despite the controversy related to his sacking from the team and as captain in the first leg. The team struggled to perform under Warner earlier in the season and that led to the management taking a tough call.

Kane Williamson is expected to continue in his leadership role and it remains to be seen if David Warner makes it to the playing XI in the second leg. Warner will also feature in the T20 World Cup for Australia soon after the IPL and he would be looking to gain some form ahead of the mega event. Most of the IPL-bound Australian cricketers haven’t played any cricket since returning from India following the suspension of the tournament earlier this year.
